Description

Campagne Pilouis is a lovely old Provencal cottage situated just outside the pretty medieval village of Entrecasteaux and its historic chateau. It is a 3 minute drive or a 15 minute walk to the village, down quiet tracks, past vineyards and over an old stone bridge.

The house has a new 4 x 8 meter salt filtered swimming pool and is set in woods and olive trees next to extensive vineyards. It has comfortable living and dining rooms,a traditional Provencal kitchen ( with gas hob, oven, fridge/freezeer, washing machine and dishwasher). Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and one has an extra bed sleeping 4 to 5 people. There is a shady terrace for dining at the front of the house, a back terrace for breakfast under the wisteria and an umbrella for shade. Under an old oak tree in the garden are chairs and a table for drinks and snacks.

The village of entrecasteaux has restaurants, a few shops, its own wine and olive cooperatives, also a bustling cafe looking over the chateau. Ir is a 20 minute drive to other small towns with busy markets, such as Cotignac, Salernes, and Carces.
